We are excited to participate in National Apprenticeship Week! The insurance apprenticeship program at Zurich is the first of its kind in the U.S., modeled after the successful program at our Switzerland headquarters. We have committed to having 100 apprentices participate in the program by 2020.
During National Apprenticeship week, one of our apprentices, Dane Lyons, will be participating at an event hosted by the Swiss Embassy. The event focuses on Swiss-style apprenticeships in the U.S. Dane will participate on a panel of apprentices who will discuss their motivations for seeking an apprenticeship, their outlook on career and the value of their education. Dane will also be walking the halls of Capitol Hill during the week to meet with Members of Congress and staffers about our apprenticeship program. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful week! #ApprenticeshipWorks #NAW2016
