Zurich Participates in Inaugural Summit on Foreign Investment

Zurich North America Chief Legal Officer Dennis Kerrigan recently joined more than 150 business and political leaders from across the United States in Washington at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural summit on foreign investment in the American economy.

The summit focused on several political and economic issues that are important to Zurich and its customers, including infrastructure investment, the legal and regulatory environment for foreign-owned companies in the U.S., and trade policy.

Dennis participated in a panel that specifically focused on foreign direct investment in the U.S., which gave him an opportunity to discuss Zurich’s long history in the United States and its recent acquisition of RCIS. Among other things, Dennis highlighted the need for regulatory certainty and a level playing field for all businesses, both foreign and domestic.
